Bun Bun was thrown out by a member of his old family and left to fend for himself in the wild. When we were made aware of this we were able to find him and give him sanctuary at the rescue. When the man who threw him out was asked why he would do such a thing he claimed that Bun Bun was fighting with the other rabbits and was also attacking people. Bun Bun has shown no aggressive behaviours since arriving at the rescue. We suspect that he may have been aggressive at his original home because he was with other unneutered males and an unneutered female.
Bun Bun was very shy when he was first brought in, but he is slowly coming out of his shell and becoming a more confident little rabbit. Bun Bun is now neutered completely up to date with all his vaccinations.
We have not assessed him with children yet but we expect him to be fine as long as he is with sensible children that can respect his needs.
