Emma started at the sanctuary as a volunteer but has recently become a trustee and rehoming officer.
As a child of the army Emma and her family were constantly moving to new military postings. This meant that Emma was reliant on the family pets for constant companionship. In 2002 Emma started volunteering at animal sanctuaries to give back some of the joy that the animals had given her in her early years.
Emma not only brings 17 years of experience to the team but also a variety of academic qualifications in the land based sector. Amongst her various jobs here she is in charge of ensuring that animals get matched with their perfect families.
